How to show Page/Post Header Cover Image

A Page/Post Header Cover Image in Customify displays a page or post featured image in the header cover area.

The global cover setting lives under Page Header, but an individual page or post can override it from the Customify Page Settings sidebar panel. Use the page excerpt guide when the cover should also show excerpt text.

  1. Open the individual page or post in the WordPress block editor.
  2. Open the editor settings sidebar.
  3. Open the Customify Page Settings panel. The page-specific display settings appear.
  4. Under Page Title Layout, choose Cover. The page or post is set to use the cover layout.
  5. Add a featured image.
  6. Update or publish the page. The featured image displays in the header cover area.

Add excerpt text to the cover

Some cover layouts can display the page or post excerpt. Follow How to add the page excerpt content to enable the excerpt field and add the text.
