Customify Pro license activation connects your site to paid updates and your PressMaximum license status from the Customify dashboard.
Use this after installing the Customify Pro add-on. If you are still setting up the free theme, start with How to install the Customify theme.
Before you start: Sign in as an administrator and keep your Customify Pro license key ready.
Where to find the License panel
- In WordPress admin, open the top-level Customify dashboard.
- Open Settings, then choose the Customify Pro or License panel shown in your dashboard.
- Find the license key field. The activation and deactivation buttons appear in the same area.
Activate your license
- Go to Customify → Settings → Customify Pro.
- Paste your license key into the License key field.
- Click Activate. The panel checks the key with PressMaximum.
- Wait for the active status to appear, then use the dashboard module cards or Customify Pro Modules docs to configure Pro features.
Deactivate your license
Deactivate the license before moving a site from staging to production, replacing a domain, or freeing one activation for another site.
- Go to Customify → Settings → Customify Pro.
- Confirm the license is currently active on this site.
- Click Deactivate. The activation is removed from this WordPress install.
- Activate the same key on the new site when you are ready.
Common license messages
The license panel can show clearer details for expiry, activation limits, and server IP issues. Use the table below to decide the next action.
| Message | Meaning | What to do |
| Server IP mismatch | The activation request does not match the site or server details expected by the license check. | Confirm the site URL is correct. If you recently changed hosts, moved domains, or use a server proxy, contact support with the exact message. |
| License expired | The key exists, but the paid license period has ended. | Renew the license in your PressMaximum account, then return to the Customify dashboard and activate again. |
| Activation limit reached | The key is already active on the maximum number of sites allowed by the license. | Deactivate the key on an old site or remove the old domain from your account. See Changing the website domain attached to a license key. |
