Blocksify spacing presets define the global spacing scale used by padding, margin, and gap controls.
Use them to keep layout rhythm consistent across sections, containers, cards, and content spacing.
Where to find it
- Open any post or page in the WordPress editor.
- Click the top-right ⋮ menu.
- Under Panels, click Blocksify Settings. A sidebar slides in.
- Open Global Spacing Presets. The spacing scale rows appear.

Spacing scale stops
The panel ships with 11 stops: NONE, 2XS, XS, SM, MD, LG, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, and 5XL. Blocks use these stops as named spacing choices.
| Scale rule | Behavior |
| Slug | The stable name Blocksify uses to keep existing spacing choices connected. |
| Label | The display name shown in slider tooltips. |
| Value | The dimension value and unit used for that spacing stop. |
| Add or remove | Not available for spacing presets. |
Edit a spacing preset
Click a row to open its popover. The slug is read-only, while the label and value can be changed.
- Click a spacing row. The preset popover opens.
- Edit Label when the display name should change.
- Edit Value with the dimension field and unit control.
- Use Reset to default when a modified row should return to its seed value.

How block controls use spacing tokens
Padding, margin, and gap sliders in Blocksify controls can use a token such as md instead of a literal value. Blocks such as the Section block and Container block then keep using that named spacing choice.
The slider’s custom mode is the escape hatch for one-off literal values. Use token stops for repeatable spacing, especially when adapting layouts with responsive editing.
Note: Spacing preset edits update the editor preview. Check the published page before relying on a changed spacing preset outside the editor.
