Blocksify gradient presets let you save custom CSS gradients for supported Blocksify background controls.
Use them when a gradient should be reused across sections or containers instead of rebuilt in each block.
Where to find it
- Open any post or page in the WordPress editor.
- Click the top-right ⋮ menu.
- Under Panels, click Blocksify Settings. A sidebar slides in.
- Open Global Gradients. The custom gradient palette appears.

Add and edit gradients
The panel uses the same WordPress palette editor shape as colors, but each entry is a reusable CSS gradient. The gradient picker handles stops, angle, and type.
- Click +. A new entry appears with a name such as Gradient 1.
- Click the swatch. The gradient picker opens.
- Adjust the stops, angle, or type.
- Click the entry name to rename it.
- Use the section’s edit mode to show the trash icon when you need to remove an entry.

Limits and output
Blocksify supports up to 20 custom gradients. At the cap, the + button disables.
Saved gradient entries become available in supported Blocksify gradient pickers. Use them when the same background treatment should appear in more than one place.
Slugs and automatic names
New gradient slugs use the blocksify-gradient- prefix. Blocksify normalizes the palette editor’s automatic names so new gradient entries use Gradient N instead of Color N.
Like color palettes, a renamed gradient keeps existing choices connected. Delete and re-add a gradient only when you are ready to update blocks that used the old entry.
Where gradient tokens appear
The Background panel inside the Section block and Container block can read custom gradient entries from Global Gradients. Supported gradient popovers draw from the theme palette and Blocksify custom gradients.
