Where to find it

  1. Select the Image Gallery block on the canvas and open the block inspector.
  2. Open Source to choose Media Library or Dynamic Data.
  3. Use Settings, the active Grid options, Masonry options, Collage options, Showcase options, or Slider options panel, then Caption & Link and Styling. Product Gallery also shows Sale badge and renames the fourth panel Lightbox & captions.
The Image Gallery inspector shows Source, Settings, an expanded Showcase options panel, Caption & Link, and Styling.

Source

Open Source and set Source type to Media Library for a fixed set you select, reorder, edit, or clear. Choose Dynamic Data when the gallery should read images from the current content.

The Image Gallery Source panel shows Dynamic Data, Attached images, Current item (context), and the main and thumbnail image sizes.
The Source panel shows the selected gallery image count with actions to edit or clear the image set.
SettingDescription
Media LibraryUses the fixed image set you choose for this gallery.
Dynamic DataUses a gallery or image field instead of a fixed selection. Dynamic sources are most useful inside a Content Loop or a Dynamic Template, where the current item can supply a different gallery.
Gallery fieldSelects an available gallery or image field. Choose Custom gallery meta key… when the images are saved in a custom field that is not listed.
Source recordChoose Current item (context) to read images from the item being displayed, or select a specific record to keep one record’s gallery.
Stored formatLeave Auto detect selected by default, or choose the format used by a custom meta key: Attachment IDs, Repeated meta rows, Comma-separated IDs, JSON, Image objects, or Image URLs.

Settings

The Settings panel contains the larger Layout picker, Height, and Image fit. Switching layouts changes the presentation without changing the source.

SettingDescription
GridUses uniform responsive columns. Its settings are in Grid options.
MasonryUses staggered columns and natural image ratios. Its settings are in Masonry options.
CollageUses featured tiles and a View-all button for the full lightbox set. Its settings are in Collage options.
ShowcaseShows one stage image with a connected thumbnail strip. Its settings are in Showcase options.
SliderShows an image track with navigation, pagination, optional autoplay, swipe, effect, loop, and speed settings in Slider options.

Showcase shows one main image with a thumbnail strip. Slider shows an image track with optional arrows, dots, autoplay, effects, loop, and speed controls; visitors can also navigate it with the keyboard.

The gallery showcase shows a main lightbox-ready image surface with navigation controls and thumbnail-style browsing.

Use Captions to place captions below or over images. When Lightbox is enabled, it can offer thumbnails, zoom, fullscreen, slideshow, share, and video, and it takes priority over media links.

Note: A gallery with one image shows no arrows, dots, or thumbnail strip.

Sale badge

The Sale badge panel appears for Product Gallery. You can show or hide the badge, display a discount percentage when available, change its label, and choose its corner position.

Styling

Gallery style panels let you style the wrapper and the gallery parts that need independent visual treatment.
