Blocksify Pro Search Kit includes Search Tabs settings for choosing content types, hiding empty tabs, and changing tab labels.
It is a ready-made version of the free Tabs block, with one panel per searchable content type.
Where to find it
- Open the search Dynamic Template described in Build a tabbed search results page.
- Select the Search Tabs parent block, using List View if a child panel is selected.
- Open Search tabs at the bottom of the block sidebar, below the standard Tabs panels.
Post types
Post types lists public content types included in search, except media attachments. Each enabled row gets a tab and panel in WordPress registration order.

Turn a row off to hide its published tab. The panel is preserved and its tab stays dimmed on the canvas for editing.
You can also select the child panel, open Tab, and use Hide this tab. Both controls have the same result.
Hide empty tabs
Hide empty tabs starts on. A tab with no results for the current search is dropped from the published tab strip.

Turn it off to show zero-result tabs with a 0 badge. Opening one shows the panel’s own empty state from its Content Loop.
Tab label
Each tab defaults to the content type’s plural name, such as Posts, Pages, Properties, or Products.

- Select the tab’s child panel on the canvas or in List View.
- Open Tab in the sidebar.
- Enter the visitor-facing name in Tab label. For example, entering “Journal” for Posts renames the tab without changing its Posts binding.
- Clear the field to restore the site’s plural label.
Count badges
Every published tab displays the number of matches for the current term. The editor uses a dash because no search is running there.
Count badges are generated on search views and cached for up to 120 seconds. After new content is published, a badge can briefly show the earlier number.
WooCommerce products
With WooCommerce and searchable products, Products becomes available. Products marked Exclude from search are omitted from its badge and panel.
On a classic theme, a type-specific product search shows your designed results where the theme’s product list normally appears, while surrounding WooCommerce controls remain visible. See Product Loop (WooCommerce) for product card and query basics.
Tab order
Tabs follow the site’s WordPress registration order. Search Tabs keeps the child panels in that sequence.
Note: The generated panel rows show a lock badge in List View and cannot be moved in Blocksify Pro 1.1.0. Their order is not controlled from the editor.
