Blocksify Pro Loop Search Bar adds keyword search to a Content Loop on the same page or sends visitors to a separate listing page. Use it alone or with Blocksify Pro Search Kit.
It is a ready-made version of the Loop Filter block, with the search field and submit button already visible.
Where to find it
- Open the page that contains the Content Loop, or the page where you want to start a listing search.
- Open the block inserter and choose Blocksify → Loop Search Bar. A search box appears on the canvas.
- Select the block, then open Settings in the block sidebar.
Target
When the block searches the current page, Target Loop appears above Target in Settings. Target decides where the keyword is applied.
| Option | What it does |
| This page’s loop | Shows Target Loop. Choose a Content Loop on the current page, and the search refreshes that listing. |
| A listing page | Sends the visitor to another page or archive. Choose Destination mode, then set Listing page and Destination loop, or enter an Archive URL. |
Blocksify warns if a selected page has no Content Loop. For site-wide searches, see the Search Kit overview.
Apply mode
Apply mode controls when the keyword takes effect. Min chars appears later in the Settings panel, below Placeholder.

- Apply button, the ready-made block’s default, waits for the visitor to click the button or press Enter.
- Instant refreshes the target after the visitor types the number set in Min chars. Clearing the field refreshes the unfiltered listing. No suggestions menu opens beneath the field.
Facets
Turn on Show active filters, then use Facets → Add facet to place compact filters beside the keyword field. Choose a taxonomy, post field, or custom field for the target Content Loop.

- Show active filters starts off for Loop Search Bar. Turn it on to show removable chips for the current keyword and facet choices, plus Clear all.
- Show facet name prefixes a facet chip with its label, such as “City: Brighton,” instead of showing only “Brighton.”
Search in
Search in sets the main text searched for each result.
| Option | What is searched |
| Title + content | The title, main content, and excerpt, plus any rows added under Search fields. |
| Title only | The title, plus any added search fields. |
| Custom fields only | Only the rows under Search fields. If none are configured, the title remains the fallback. |
Placeholder
Placeholder changes the hint inside the field, such as “Search properties.” The Min chars control below it sets how many characters Instant mode requires before refreshing the results.
Search fields
Use Search fields → Add search field only when the keyword may live in saved data or a taxonomy rather than post text.

- Set Provider to Raw Meta, SCF / ACF, Meta Box, Pods, JetEngine, or Taxonomy, then choose the field or taxonomy under Key.
- Weight changes ranking when more than one place matches. A higher number moves results matching that row ahead of results that match only lower-weight rows; it does not exclude those results.
Warning: Each added search field adds a JOIN and can affect query performance. Add only fields visitors genuinely need.
Button text
Button text appears after Search fields, changes the submit label, and defaults to “Search.”
Styling
Open Styling to choose a Search button icon, set Search button icon position to Left or Right, and open Search Button for the button’s visual controls.

What visitors see
Submitting reloads or refreshes the results with the keyword in the address bar. A search for “harbour” uses a key in the form ?cl_{loop-id}_s=harbour, where {loop-id} identifies the Target Loop.
The field keeps “harbour” after results appear. To clear the search, remove the text and submit again; Blocksify removes that keyword value and restores the loop’s other results.
