Updating Blocksify Pro

Update Blocksify Pro by uploading the new ZIP file and replacing the installed copy in WordPress. Blocksify Pro 1.1.0 has no automatic updater.

Before you start: Download the new Blocksify Pro ZIP from your purchase email or account, confirm it is newer than the installed copy, and back up the site.

Upload and replace Blocksify Pro

  1. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin. The ZIP upload form appears.
  2. Click Choose File and select the new Blocksify Pro ZIP file.
The WordPress Upload Plugin form shows the Blocksify Pro 1.1.0 ZIP selected beside the enabled Install Now button.
  1. Click Install Now. WordPress detects that Blocksify Pro is already installed and opens the comparison screen.
The WordPress comparison screen shows the current and uploaded Blocksify Pro details above the Replace current with uploaded button.
  1. Review the current and uploaded version details. Confirm that the uploaded version is the one you intend to install.
  2. Click Replace current with uploaded. WordPress replaces the installed plugin files.
  3. Return to Plugins → Installed Plugins. The installed plugin list opens.
  4. Confirm that Blocksify Pro is active with the new version number.

Tip: Check the Blocksify Pro changelog in WordPress plugin details. After updating, you can also find it under Blocksify → Dashboard → Changelog & roadmap → Blocksify Pro.

What an update keeps

Replacing the ZIP changes plugin files, not saved content or settings.

  • Blocksify Pro settings stay in place.
  • Saved visibility conditions and the blocks that use them stay in place.
  • The Loop Filter index stays available; a normal update does not require re-indexing.

After updating, test a page that uses filtering or a saved condition. Use Manage the Loop Filter index only if the dashboard reports a problem.

Keep the free Blocksify plugin current

Pro features depend on the free plugin, and a Pro release can require a newer Blocksify release. Check the current requirements before updating both.

  1. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins. The installed plugin list opens.
  1. Update Blocksify first when an update is available. WordPress confirms when the free plugin is current.
  2. Upload the new Blocksify Pro ZIP and choose Replace current with uploaded, as described above.

If Blocksify is missing, inactive, or too old, Pro does not start and WordPress shows a notice. See How to install the Blocksify plugin if needed.
