Requirements

Blocksify Pro requirements cover the WordPress, PHP, and Blocksify versions needed to run Pro.

Check the baseline below before you install Blocksify Pro. You can also compare the requirements for the free Blocksify plugin.

System requirements

RequirementBaseline
WordPressWordPress 6.8 or newer.
PHPPHP 7.4 or newer.
Blocksify (free)Blocksify 1.0.0 or newer is required. Blocksify 1.2.0 is recommended for the complete Pro 1.1.0 feature set.
Blocksify ProStable tag 1.1.0, tested up to WordPress 7.0.
BrowserBlocksify Pro follows the same browser baseline as Blocksify: current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.

Blocksify Pro extends Blocksify instead of replacing it. Keep both plugins installed and active; the free plugin supplies the editor and dashboard where the Pro features appear.

Optional plugins Pro works with

  • WooCommerce: Adds product-aware filtering and search, including price, on-sale, stock-status, and rating filters. See Filter WooCommerce products.
  • Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) or Secure Custom Fields (SCF): Supplies custom-field data that you can show in Content Loop cards.
  • Meta Box: Supplies custom-field data for Content Loop cards.
  • Pods: Supplies custom-field data for Content Loop cards.
  • Toolset Types: Supplies custom-field data for Content Loop cards.

These integrations are optional. Read Supported field plugins before building cards from custom fields.

What happens if Blocksify is missing

Blocksify Pro checks for Blocksify 1.0.0 or newer when WordPress loads the plugins. If Blocksify is missing, inactive, or too old, Pro does not start, and WordPress shows the same dependency notice.

The red WordPress admin notice says Blocksify Pro requires Blocksify version 1.0.0 or newer and asks the user to update the Blocksify plugin.

The notice reads: “Blocksify Pro requires Blocksify version 1.0.0 or newer — please update the Blocksify plugin.” Install, activate, or update Blocksify, then reload the admin screen.

After the requirement is met, use Where Blocksify Pro appears in WordPress to confirm that the new controls are available.
