Menu Close

Link element

Blocksify Pro Link adds a labeled link or button to each Content Loop card and sends visitors to a destination chosen for that entry.

  1. Select a Content Loop block and open General → Card in the right sidebar.
  2. Under Card Elements, click Add element and choose Link under Element type.
  3. Choose a card area such as Card Footer, then click Add Element. The new Link card item opens for editing.

The Link card item starts with the label Learn more and points to This item. It is separate from the free Read more card item and can be added more than once.

Targets

Link to sets the destination for each result. Some choices appear unavailable until the selected post type has the required relationship or URL field.

The Link to menu lists None, This item, Related object, A field, and Custom URL.
ChoiceDestinationWhat it needs
NoneNo destination; the card item is displayed without a link.No extra setting.
This itemThe current card’s permalink. No extra setting.
Related objectThe permalink of a connected entry, such as a property’s Listing Agent.Select a single Relationship field.
A fieldThe address saved in the current entry.Select a URL field.
Custom URLThe same typed address for every card.Enter an http or https URL.

If a chosen Relationship or URL field is empty for one entry, that Link card item is omitted from that card.

Label and icon

Data and Style are mutually exclusive tabs. Use Data to set the label and destination, then select Style to add an icon and choose its position; a concise label such as View property or Meet the agent works well.

The complete Link data popover shows Meet the agent as the label, Related object as the link target and Listing Agent as the relationship.
  • Label accepts the text shown on every card.
  • The icon picker accepts an available icon or a custom choice.
  • Icon position offers Left and Right after an icon is selected.

You can style the Link wrapper, Link Value, and Link Icon separately. The card item can also work as an icon-only control; in that case, the published link receives the accessible name Link.

Storefront behavior

On the published page, every Link card item resolves its destination from its own result. The reusable Property Cards example uses Meet the agent, while the main Find a Property listing uses the shorter View action to open the property itself.

The Grove Street Apartment card shows its price and property details above Tomas Halvorsen and a Meet the agent button with a right-arrow icon.

Note: To make the empty area of every card open its entry, select the Content Loop and set General → Grid → Card link to Card wrap. Keep a Link card item when visitors need a visible action or a different destination; its click takes priority over the card link.

Use the free Button block for a fixed page action outside a loop. For values that should appear as text, images, or formatted fields, see Dynamic Field.
